Anton Ego is from Ratatouille (Pixar, 2007), and the voice clip is a performance by Vincent Price in The Great Mouse Detective (Disney, 1986).
An animation testing both squash and stretch principles and the use of animated textures in Maya.
A short animation depicting a jump based upon real-world reference. Within this animation I focussed on giving the character a reason to jump and an emotional reaction to their action.
Additionally, I also ensured that the principles of animation were adhered to during the process, with emphasis on the use of overlapping action, anticipation, arcs, posing and weight.
